Do you charge a callout fee just to knock on the door?
No. For planned visits during working hours (07:30 to 18:00) we look at the job and give you a fixed written price, and you only pay once you have agreed to it. For emergencies after 18:00, a fixed callout charge is agreed on the phone before anyone sets off.
How quickly can an engineer reach my home in an emergency?
Across Marrowcombe and the Wend valley, most emergency calls are reached within the hour. The vans carry common fittings, valves and heating parts, so most leaks are stopped on the first visit.
What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?
